Marriott's Newport Coast Villas hosts Golf Ball drop with guests and owners for CHOC Children's

A cloudy evening did not dampen the excitement for the first Golf Ball drop of the year! Guests and owners of Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas partook in the weekly sampling of gourmet cheese and wines while enjoying live music and an idyllic ocean view.

This event was extra special, as the dedicated associates invited guests to purchase golf balls for a chance to win one of eight fabulous prizes! 100% of the purchase was donated to CHOC Children’s, just about 18 miles inland.

After enjoying some live music and great conversation around the campfire, it was time! Associates dropped a bucket of golf balls from atop a cherry picker onto the putting green with 8 numbered holes. The goal was simple enough: hope that your ball was the closest to the hole.
