Marriott Vacations Worldwide Holds First “Bands for Babies” Bracelet Drop  

Associates at Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s Corporate Headquarters in Orlando, FL held the first “Bands for Babies” bracelet drop benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In lieu of a traditional raffle drawing, Marriott Vacations Worldwide dropped numbered hospital bands – one for each ticket – off the top of a fire truck. Through the support of their amazing associates, the company raised a remarkable total of $10,500 to support the everyday miracles that take place at Arnold Palmer Medical Center through this event.

“Bands for Babies” is an extension of the Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s annual golf tournament, the Caring Classic. This year marks the 20th year of the Caring Classic, which has raised over $2.3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since the tournament’s inception. The 2017 Caring Classic takes place on April 28 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes.
